Komen: Winning a prize in Sakura's "Art in my Life" contest is wonderfully validating and an honour indeed. One of my favourite things to draw is animals, and that's why I keep coming back to them. In this artwork, I've used mainly pigma micron pens - black and brown - and a white gelly roll for some highlights. Pigma micron pens are extremely versatile and easy to use. You can certainly create interesting and creative art pieces with them. Drawing animals is one of the most rewarding things in my art journey as I believe animals add to the beauty of our planet and are so important to the ecosystem. So, it's vital that we do not destroy their habitat and help in their conservation. We should do everything to prevent the extinction of any animal. Many thanks to Sakura for providing such an opportunity to artists from around the world. It is truly appreciated.

Komen - Pengedar sah di Malaysia: The animal portrait is unbelievably realistic. This artist displayed superb pen stroke techniques in the creation of this animal painting that makes you feel like reaching out to stroke the smooth soft feathers of the owls. And her love for animal conservation speaks volumes through her art. Amazing talent.
