@artists_town will share us her techniques how to create an beautiful DIY Heart card.

1.Sketching: Begin by sketching the basic shapes of the flower and leaves.

2. Outlining: Outline using pink and green PIGMA MICRONs (#01and#05).

3. Adding Details: Use techniques such as hatching and pointillism to add shading and texture to the drawing. This step adds depth and
dimension to the artwork, enhancing its realism.

4. Watercolor for Flowers: Apply the watercolor wet-on-dry technique to the flower petals. Start with a lighter shade of pink from Koi watercolors (color#171) as the base color, layering the watercolors to achieve the desired intensity. Allow the paint to dry partially before adding a darker shade of pink (color#027) to the ends of the petals, creating a gradient effect.

5.Watercolor for Leaves: Repeat the wet-on-dry technique for the leaves using green watercolor (color #115). Once the paint is mostly dry, add a touch of yellow (color#068) to certain areas for added realism and depth.

6.Galaxy Background: Apply the watercolor wet-on-wet technique. Start by applying water to the blank space of the paper, then add neon pink watercolor (color#267).Add more color here and there to create a cosmic effect.

7.Adding Glitter: To give a magical effect to the flower, draw lines on the petals using a little bit of Pearl Red color (color#284) on the tip of the brush. Additionally, apply Light gold color (color#252) to the center of the flower.

8.Adding Stars: Once the galaxy background has dried completely, use a white GELLY ROLL to add stars.

 Water Usage TIP: Begin with more water at the start, then gradually decrease the amount as you add details.

Try painting it for events such as Mothers’s day and Valentain’s day. The handwritten message card will surely be fresh and heartfelt!
